Privacy policy
This policy explains how Feliz Marketing Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We handle personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Feliz Marketing Limited is the data controller for the processing described here. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 06297912, with our registered office at 163 Locket Road, Harrow, England, HA3 7NY. You can reach us at hello@felizmarketing.co.uk.
2. What we collect
When you visit this website
Our hosting provider automatically records technical information for each request: IP address, date and time, the pages requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to serve the site and keep it secure, and is held in server logs for a limited period.
When you contact us
If you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, company, an indication of budget, and your message. We use this only to answer you and, if you go on to become a client, to run our working relationship.
Typefaces
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, your IP address is transmitted to Google. If you would rather it did not, we are happy to self-host the fonts on request.
Cookies
This website sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
3. Why we process it, and our lawful basis
- To operate and secure the website. Legitimate interests — running a safe, working site.
- To answer enquiries and prepare proposals. Steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver services to clients. Performance of our contract with you.
- To meet our legal obligations. For example, keeping accounting records under the Companies Act 2006.
4. Client advertising accounts
Where we run advertising or analytics on behalf of a client, that client is the controller for the data collected on their own website and in their own ad accounts, and we act as their processor under a written agreement. This policy covers only our own site and our own enquiries.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the suppliers we need in order to run the business — our hosting, email and accounting providers — and only so far as necessary. They act on our instructions. Where a supplier processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement, as appropriate.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your details with other clients or partners for their own marketing.
6. How long we keep it
Server logs are deleted after a short period, normally no more than 90 days. Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to two years, so that we have context if you come back to us. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and then for six years, to meet tax and limitation requirements.
7. Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise any of these, email hello@felizmarketing.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) to this site and access controls on the systems that hold client data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
